Plot Synopsis
Anna Matsuda (Ryoko Yonekura) is a reporter for the Toto Newspaper. She is referred to as “Shinbun Gyokai no Itanji” (nonconformist in the newspaper field). Following her beliefs as a journalist, she carries out her work.
Notes
- Drama series “The Journalist” shares the same Japanese title “Shinbun Kisha” as 2019 movie “The Journalist,” which is also set at newspaper company Toto Newspaper and is directed by same director Michihito Fujii, but features different characters and story from the movie version.
